The use of a tool to carry out diagnostics on a vehicle has become normal practice to quickly isolate any faults and consequently carry out their repair. The fact that electronic components have become an integral part of any vehicle the use of a diagnostic tool has become indispensable.

The official dealer network have at their disposal equipment directly supplied by the vehicle manufacturer, but the all makes workshop requires a tool that is able to carry out diagnostics on a large number of vehicle makes.

Our tool addresses those needs for all the workshops who want to carry out checks and diagnostics on a vast range of cars, using an advanced tool with characteristics and functionality superior to the official tools, at the same time easy to use with a simple user interface and intuitive visual displays on a 15 inch LCD touch screen.

But Leonardo offers much more, in addition to the advanced diagnostic functions (reading and erasing errors, reading data in real time, diagnostics on every electronic component–just to mention a few), it is possible to make use of a multimeter, a twin channel oscilloscope and of MILLENIUM OBD-II pro, powered by software from our notable OBD serial tuning tool for ECUs.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

DIAGNOSTICS

Automatic search and diagnostics of all on board ECUs (i.e. Mercedes E Class W211 up to 65 settings) by pressing a single key (Fast Test Function).

On every electronic component the following can be carried out:

Reading and erasing errors;
Automatic display of Identification, Hardware number, Software number and ECU manufacturer;
Reading of data in real time and displayed in numeric or graphic mode (up to 8 channels at the same time);
Check operation of components (i.e. electric windows, lighting, engine solenoid activation, etc.);
Adaptation and coding ( reinitialize keys, ECU configuration, coding, recoding, programming ect.).

PROGRAMMING (on request)

Programming/Tuning ECUs using Millenium OBD II – Pro software, evolved from our Millenium Obd Tuning tool.

DUAL CHANNEL OSCILLOSCOPE

a) AUTO SET Function on signals being measured

b) HOLD/RUN Function on displayed signals.

c) 40KHz Analog band.

d) Samples per second : 100.000.

e) Print the on screen data.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (SIT)

Simple to use database containing technical vehicle information.
